One Person Can make a Difference

Give the Gift Of Health

This holiday season why not give the gift of Health. You can help by providing Superfoods. Help San Diego and the 483,000 people right here in this county who face hunger every day. Of this number 273,000 are children. Don’t let another child go to bed hungry tonight or another senior citizen fight to choose between medicine and food.

Steven Pratt with Ruth Solari
SuperFood Drive together with many community partners believes that change is best supported through collaboration and community support, through passionate people working together to make a difference. Superfoods Rx, Whole Foods, the San Diego Food Bank are among some of the the partners joining together in making healthy food accessible to everyone.

Its so easy to help and you can help by making a donation to the San Diego Food Bank. For every dollar you donate, the San Diego Food Bank can provide three meals. $1 = 3 meals.

The San Diego Food Bank is one of the most efficient charities in San Diego County. For every $1 donated, 94 cents goes directly toward food acquisition, distribution and programs.

There are many ways you can donate, and you do not even have to leave the comforts of your home.

Why Not Host Your Own Superfood Drive

Help and reach the SuperFoods goal of ensuring that all people, regardless of income level, have access to nutrient-dense foods. If you are interested in hosting a SuperFood Drive, just follow this link. You will act as the liaison between the people/groups/company donating the non-perishable SuperFood items and the people, groups and organizations receiving the donated nutrient-dense foods.

On October 27, 2009 the SuperFood Drive had their kick off event with partners Whole Foods and San Diego Food Bank for the Healthy Holiday Food Drives in San Diego
